Pink Cube

A large oil painting, that creates movement within a static image, using primarily reds and yellows. Reminiscent of grossly magnified images in magazines or medical texts, the eye settles in the dark centre of the painting and then subconsciously finds itself moving to find lighter colours at the edge of the work.
